Decals for Unnumbered Cars
When it comes to providing decals for unnumbered locomotives and passenger cars, we generally can no longer provide them. One of the main reasons is that oftentimes when modellers choose unnumbered cars, there are specific numbers they would like to apply to the model(s). As a result, we have arrangements with Highball Graphics to provide them with the same artwork we supply to the factory, so that modellers can order customized decal solutions to suit their needs exactly.
Please contact Highball Graphics for more information. They are always happy to help.
HO Scale Comet Cars Update
As we're shipping these out shortly, we'd like to inform you of what happened with the HO scale Comet Cars (link). When they arrived, we discovered that the factory had installed Super Bright Shiny Wheels™️ on the cars. The production samples we approved had our normal blackened metal wheels, but someone at the factory thought they were nothing in comparison to amazing, dazzling, spectacular Super Bright Shiny Wheels™️.
The factory was quite shocked that we did not want Super Bright Shiny Wheels™️, but they were good sports and they sent us a ton of replacement Realistic But Boring Wheels™️. We have put a car's worth of Realistic But Boring Wheels™️ in each box. It takes a couple of minutes to swap them out. A couple of minutes for you is about 130 hours for us, so we hope you don't mind that we did not swap the wheels for you. We apologize for the hassle.
